With the wonderful innovation of technology comes the not-so-wonderful rise in identity theft and security breaches for companies of all sizes. Large companies used to be privy to certain legal advice, consulting, and security services that would keep them from having to deal with the problems created by identity theft and security breaches. Thanks to Lionheart Assurance, now small companies can be covered, as well. It doesn’t matter if you’re a sole proprietor or if you have 15 to 20 employees working for you. You deserve coverage and to be able to protect your assets.
Lionheart Assurance has been providing services to small- and medium-sized businesses since 1997. From awareness training for employees to security protection and legal service plans, Lionheart Assurance has something to offer every company that needs help when it comes to avoiding identity theft. In case you’re not aware, any company of any size that stores their information on computers is at risk. It doesn’t matter if you work at home with a partner and your personal information is stored on your business PC, or if you have a company of 200 employees that you take care of at your business. Anyone can be a victim, and taking proactive steps to prevent theft is the only way to be prepared.
According to CIO Magazine, May 2006 issue, they state, “When it comes to cleaning up this mess, companies on average spend 1,600 work hours per incident at a cost of $40,000 to $92,000 per victim.” It just makes sense that you will want to be prepared. When it usually costs thousands of dollars to recover or restore identity theft cases and security breaches, you really can’t afford to NOT be prepared against identity theft and other security breaches that could occur within your business. Take precautions that are necessary, and check out Lionheart Assurance Solutions for all of your needs today.
There is a huge sense of urgency in the need for these services. With the state of the economy, no business can afford to spend more money than necessary, and they certainly can’t afford to lose money over something that could have been prevented. You need to take the steps to learn about combating identity theft, securing your personal information and non-public company files, and informing employees on identity theft awareness so that everyone can work more productively and peacefully at all times. Reduce your liabilities and increase your business power by taking the appropriate measures yourself against the threat of identity theft today.

I watched a special on CBS the other night about the amount of information that gets left on the hard drive of company copiers. Reporters took different photo copy machines hospitals and police stations and found tons of personal information that identity thieves could use to exploit people. It’s kind of scary, considering most companies don’t bother to have the hard drive erased before they resell it. Lionheart, I think you should address this issue in the information you provide small businesses if you don’t already.

Like my mother always said, better safe than sorry. With the economy the way it is most small businesses probably won’t want to spend the money on this type of protection, but it will save them A LOT if identity theft happens to their employees. Thanks for bringing this to people’s attention, Lionheart Assurance Solutions.
