Lionheart Assurance Solutions can help businesses of all sizes to cover their company and their employees from identity theft and other legal problems. Having employees that have peace of mind and that feel secure can make the workplace that much more enjoyable and productive in the long run. Not only is it a good tool to increase security and productivity, it’s just good business to protect your assets, including your employees. With the age of technology taking over, more and more companies are using computers to store files and secure information, and this is creating a much higher incidence of identity theft and security breaches.
When you don’t use the right protective measures in the first place, it might prove to be quite difficult to keep your company and your employees safe from harm. Most people think of identity theft in relation to the stealing of credit cards, but that’s not the only kind that there is. There are actually five different types of identity theft, including: driver’s license identity theft, social security theft, medical identity theft, character/criminal identity theft, and financial/credit identity theft. Criminals don’t discriminate, and will get their hands on any non-public information (NPI) that they possibly can.
Lionheart Assurance Solutions serves to educate and cover companies like yours, no matter how small you might think you are, from these problems. So many large companies seem privileged to be able to afford this kind of coverage to their companies and employees, but as a small business, you deserve it, too. You can get full coverage for all of your employees with Lionheart Assurance, and plans can even be customized to fit your business’s exact needs, no matter how big or small they might be.
Businesses need to be educated on this topic, to help themselves, their employees, and their customers in all instances possible. According to an article in CIO Magazine, 2006 issue, they state “the average company will spend about 1,600 work hours per incident fixing the problem that could have been prevented with the right protective services in place.” As if that’s not enough to scare you into protecting your assets, consider that the average restoration or recovery costs about $40,000 to $92,000 per victim. If your entire personnel file is breached, and the criminals make off with even just five identities, that’s more than $200,000 that you really shouldn’t have to spend. Now is the time to ask yourself: can you afford NOT to be protected?

My bank just enrolled me in an identity theft program. Is this really necessary? I’m wondering how much protection I will actually receive from the program.

Thanks for the reminder, Lionheart. As a small business owner, I know that this kind of protection is just as important to provide for my employees as health insurance. My employees are like my family, and I want to take care of them in every way I can.
